How to Join Masonry

Welcome friends, this page is designed just for you to help you on your way to become Master Mason. If you are already a Master Mason and wish to affiliate yourself with our Lodge, please look in the table below for the appropriate application, fill it in and submit to the Lodge secretary for consideration.

Q:    Do you believe in God?
While Masonry is not a religion, it requires its members to believe in God. Masonry does not care what your faith is -- that is question between you and your God. No atheist can be a Mason

Q:    Do you believe others have the same right to their own beliefs as you do?
Masonry teaches tolerance and insists on everyone’s right to think and decide for himself in religious, social and political matters.

Q:    Do you believe that there's more to life than materialism?
Fraternity teaches its members that self-development and self-discovery is more precious than any material possessions.

Q:    Do you believe charity, kindness and compassion for others are more important that prestige power and influence?
Masonry does. We believe that kindness to all God’s creatures, charity to our fellow man and compassion for the unfortunate are traits that define man of good character.

If you answered yes to all of those questions, you may want to consider becoming a mason.

Freemasonry does not solicit new members, no one will ask you to join, this has to be your desire and it has to happen based on your free will and accord. Once you decide to become a Master Mason, you will have to contact a mason you know and talk to him about it. Should you not know any masons, please contact the Lodge (see contact info) and stop by for a visit.

Your next step is to fill in an application for the degrees and your Lodge representative will take it for consideration and you will be notified about next steps.

Once you are accepted for the degrees, you will be contacted and all the degree work will be arranged for you. There are three degrees that you will go through: an Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft and finally Master Mason.
