Masonic Appended Bodies

Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction

Scottish Rite as it is commonly known, is one of several appended bodies of Freemasonry. Each Scottish Rite Valley has up to four bodies, and each body confers a set of degrees. It is one of the two appended bodies (York Rite being the second one) in which a Mater Mason can proceed after completion of the 3rd degree.

Our Charlotte Scottish Rite Valley consists of following bodies:

The Lodge of Perfection (4°–14°)
Chapter of Rose Croix (15°–18°)
Council of Kadosh (19°–30°)
The Consistory (31°–32°)
